The lifestyle and shopping – it’s getting better all the time for Mulgoa

Changes for the better are happening right across the Greater West.

Of course, we all know about Westfield Penrith. A huge shopping centre featuring Woolworths and Coles together with women’s and men’s fashion. There’s something for everyone including homeware and technology stores, sport and leisure, kids and family. In fact, pretty much everything is here.

You also have the choice of fresh fruit and vegetables from other vendors in the centre. Hoyts is at one end. Numerous places to eat and drink, get your hair done, have a massage, pedicure, manicure, buy flowers, soap, incense, makeup, something to wear, something for your car, or have a drink with a friend and catch-up.

A major $10.5 million development application has been lodged with Penrith Council to convert the south-west area of Westfield into a new three-storey food and beverage building including a rooftop terrace with a licenced balcony. The new dining and lifestyle area will be known as the Mondo Dining precinct.

The plan includes a multi-storey detached food and beverage building, with licenced balcony and accessible rooftop located south of the car park, as well as a health and wellness precinct, medical hub on the first floor, and landscaped area. This development aims to meet people’s high expectations for an area to entertain kids or meet with friends and family.

Beyond Westfield, Penrith Panthers are underway in developing a unique site with an offering of running tracks, lakeside dining, wine bars, entertainment, high quality apartments and landscaped areas. The expansion is to include the Western Sydney Community and Conference Centre. This will be a vibrant place with the atmosphere reflecting a true local village. You’ll want to spend time in this buzzing atmosphere…an hour here, an afternoon there.

The new Nepean River Restaurant area, ‘The East Bank’ is now open with more restaurants and cafes to open their doors soon. Along the Great River Walk and opposite the Nepean River, the restaurant strip is already a favourite destination of locals and visitors. You’ll find restaurants including Maldini’s, Goji Bar and Restaurant, Tella Balls Dessert Bar,The Coffee Club Nepean River and more to come.

Much closer to Mulgoa Sanctuary is the new look Glenmore Park Town Centre. This $30 million upgraded shopping centre is just an easy 7 minute drive away. Taking a bus is convenient too. There’s everything you need for your daily shopping with Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Liquorland, Aldi Liquor (in-store) as well as a combined total of 60 specialty retailers. It’s your one-stop shopping experience.

Relax and unwind with friends and family at one of the cafes or restaurants. Visit the new alfresco dining precinct to enjoy tastes from Oporto or Zambrero. There’s even a carwash located within the car park as well as Coles click & collect. It means your routine just got easier. Parking? There are over 650 spaces waiting for you.

Even closer to home will be the new shopping village planned for Mulgoa Rise. You’ll be almost next door to a supermarket, childcare centre, liquor store, car wash, gym, medical centre, pharmacy and swim centre. Specialty shops will be here too including restaurants, a cafe, bakery, newsagent and butcher. A two minute drive or an easy walk will make ’Glenmore Village’ your village.

Mulgoa Sanctuary has it all. The tranquillity of sweeping Blue Mountains and bushland views combined with all the lifestyle infrastructure that makes living here so perfect – major shopping centres, theatres and restaurants, parks and playing fields all so close.
